The FDA has now finalized the FSMA 204 Rule which mandates additional traceability record-keeping requirements for certain foods.

These new mandates have aggressive deadlines with few exceptions and without a phase-in period. The new ruling requires all food supply chain stakeholders, and for the first time retail establishments (restaurant and grocery stores), to provide documentation on Key Data Elements (KDEs) and Critical Tracking Events (CTEs) within 24 hours of request — in a sortable, electronic spreadsheet for years of retention.

Be sure to join PLM Trustlink and IFMA to learn who must comply with this rule, by when, and what's the easiest way to produce the required documentation given this aggressive timeline.
