Our New Purpose, Mission, and Vision
IFMA’s new purpose—the first in the Association’s history—is a guiding light defining why we exist. Leading the food-away-from-home industry requires us to define the parameters of our expanded ecosystem and is reflected in our new vision and mission.
Purpose: To empower, nurture, and connect the food-away-from-home ecosystem so it may thrive and responsibly meet consumer needs.
Vision: To champion an inclusive food-away-from-home ecosystem that collaborates to build innovative solutions that advance the industry.
Mission: Be the agent of change leading a dynamic, transparent and engaged food-away-from-home community that will help grow our members’ businesses.
Our New Membership Structure
Beginning in 2024, IFMA moves from two membership categories to four—creating and developing an updated membership strategy that is inclusive and brings the voices of the entire industry together.
