Webinar: Impact on Foodservice Manufacturers From Proposed Changes to K-12 Dietary Guidelines

On February 6, 2023, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released revised nutritional guidelines for K–12 school systems. These guidelines will have a significant impact on K-12 providers—and the IFMA manufacturers and distributors that supply them, to the tune of an estimated $38 billion annually.

These recommendations from the USDA require severe examination from across the supply chain of the K-12 segment. IFMA will facilitate this examination during a webinar where members of the IFMA Elementary & Secondary Foodservice Leadership Council will share their concerns about the proposed changes and their potential impact on their suppliers.
