Become a Candidate for the IFMA Board of Directors
As IFMA prepares to launch a transformative long-range plan in 2024, we invite manufacturer executives who believe in expanding engagement, transparency, and inclusiveness across our industry to become nominees for our board of directors.
To be considered for a seat on the IFMA board, candidates should have an interest in contributing to the future of food-away-from-home businesses. Board members are asked to take on the role of “servant leader” to advance the mission of IFMA to our entire industry.
Candidate requirements include:
- Being an IFMA manufacturer member in good standing and being in a senior executive foodservice position with clear corporate decision-making responsibilities.
- Having a history of executive leadership in the food industry as well as active engagement with IFMA.
- Being available to serve for three years; service will begin in January 2024 and may be extended through committee and executive team appointments.
- Agreeing to attend three in-person board meetings annually, engage in committee assignments, provide occasional program and content development support, and demonstrate leadership through partnership/sponsorship and event participation.
